The Baltimore Flute Choir was co-founded in August 2004 by Crystal Niedzwiadek and Laura Weatherington. Now in its sixth season, the BFC's concert schedule consists of our annual Make New Friends Side-by-Side Concert, our annual BFC Festival to which other local flute choirs are invited, our annual fall, holiday and spring concerts, participation in other flute choir festivals and numerous other performances including those sponsored by the Dept. of Aging and the Aberdeen Ironbirds.   We are an adult community choir that seeks to promote the enjoyment of flute ensemble playing. Repertoire is wide-ranging including classical, jazz and pop. Adult players of college level experience are welcome to join us.  There is no audition required.

There is a yearly $25 sheet music fee to participate in the group.

If interested in joining or hearing more about our concert schedule, send an email to info@Baltimoreflutechoir.com.

The students who joined us in the Side by Side concert studied under several teachers in our choir.  They ranged in age from nine to forty and came from schools in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.  They worked diligently on the music and came to the concert well prepared.  Certificates of appreciation were given to each of them by their respective teachers, and a wonderful reception was enjoyed by all afterwards.  We hope they will join us next year!
