A local group of talented musicians, the Baltimore Flute Choir (BFC), will perform next month at the National Flute Association convention in Orlando, Fla. Chosen from a field of more than 500 entries, BFC has proposed a program titled “Music from Baltimore: Our Reply,” inspired by eminent composer Leonard Bernstein, who once wrote, “This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before.”  Read more…
