The BFC heads to western Maryland for a performance at the Performing Arts Center at Garrett College (<https://www.performingartsgc.com>) in McHenry, MD. The concert begins at 7:30 P.M. and admission is free.
The concert will feature music from the Baroque era, a jazz shuffle, hit show tunes, a tango, contemporary works inspired by the Celtic tradition and Poe’s “The Raven”, and more! View a flyer for posting or one for black/white printing for all the details.
During the afternoon that day, BFC members will host a low-flutes “petting zoo” for area flute students to learn about and try out some of the less-frequently heard members of the flute family: alto flute, bass flute, and contrabass flute.
